This policy describes the personal data Tako Picks expects to collect, why it is used, how users can control it, and how deletion requests work.
Data We Collect
Account data: email or sign-in identifier, display name, country, locale, profile choices, and account settings.
Gameplay data: predictions, scores, streaks, friend invites, challenges, coins, cosmetics, purchases, and receipt history.
Technical data: device and browser information, IP-derived region, diagnostics, fraud prevention signals, and app interaction events.
How We Use Data
We use data to operate the game, save progress, calculate scores, run leaderboards, power friend invites, provide support, prevent cheating, process purchases, and comply with legal obligations.
If push notifications are enabled, we use notification preferences to send match lock reminders, challenge updates, and other game-critical alerts.
Sharing
Public gameplay surfaces may show display name, country, mascot style, points, streaks, invite rank, and saved receipt results.
Service providers may process data for hosting, authentication, analytics, payments, notifications, support, security, and fraud prevention. We do not sell personal data in the ordinary meaning of selling user lists.
Account Deletion and Export
Users can request account deletion from inside the app and from the web deletion page. Deletion removes or anonymizes account data that is not legally required for fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute, or security purposes.
Users can request/export account data from account settings. Guest-only data may only exist on the device until the account is claimed.
Children
Tako Picks is not intended for children under 13. Prize-eligible or paid features may require a higher age depending on jurisdiction.
